i’ve decided to put this out as a vlog as it’s just easier to freestyle all my thoughts about it because it’s been a long road and I feel like I can put a flag in this first 33% chapter (the first part of the roadmap) I’m sure the main team members feel that way as well — successful all around, perfectly timed and squeezed the most value out of what they had so far and made it work.

Flipped, reversed it you could say — especially in a bear market (maybe that’s when these work best anyway?) where you are rewarded for the long haul and the grind anyway, maybe that’s the unique flavour in my mouth and mind this morning — that’s some battles are just, well worth it.

This morning I stepped through the process of sending my HUNT tokens, virtual numbers on a screen that i’ve been slowly getting for my involvement in a decentralised app on the steem blockchain, steemhunt (one of many such projects you can get involved in) to daybit, an exchange in South Korea, yeah, it’s over there somewhere in this scary place called cyberspace, a server in the cloud, with our trust in that they can keep things safe and secure in an ever changing digital highway of space pirates and savvy code ninjas.

so I just wanted to do a test this morning, step through, practice what I preach and all that (so I know how it works) and it worked perfectly! I made sure I had some ether in my wallet for the GAS price of sending some HUNT tokens (they are just erc-20 tokens) to the exchange, it had more confirmations that I’m used to waiting for but the transfer went easily — no middleman, no bank manager, no getting upset, paper receipts in the mail, physical housing address, just my value pushed from one place to another place to be exchange for other value — in other blockchain projects or into FIAT for my current country of residence, kinda strange all that isn’t it?

If there is one thing that I’ve really learned about myself and crypto in the last year is that VALUE is transferrable and the time you spend frequently these ledger systems has a value to the algorithm, the algorithm does not care about your status, race, ideals and vanity — it cares about volume, transaction id’s and it does it from a place of absolute certainty, no degrading grey matter and opinions enter the fray which I can totally feel at ease at allowing me to focus on what’s important, loving those close to you.
