Steemit for Content Creators | #ep18 | getting your reputation up!

in dtube •  7 years ago  (edited)

just like in life, reputation is EVERYTHING!

your word is your bond.
your blog is your outlet.
the audience is your driver.
you are the backseat contributor.

ok, so maybe it's not that vivid or abstract but i think you get where i'm coming from -- to be a success at anything you need an audience, you need to build up a reputation in any ecosystem you are in. be it the best video blogger, the best cookie maker, the best skydiver -- whatever it is that your awesome at, own it. be it, build upon it.

in the same way, steem reputation is about time served at the helm of your blog, comments and curation on other peoples blogs, debating, suggesting, helping, running contests, putting out content that helps the ecosystem -- i'm hoping this course is seen as the same. it's multi platform, it's on youtube, steemit, dtube, skillshare and udemy, i'm going for that multi honed, where the eye balls might be approach to build AWARENESS to the platform and indirectly to my own steemit account, it's bringing in people to the platform, especially content creators like you.

i try and break down the things you need to do to build up that rep, high rep, more chance that people are going to see you as a peer with the advice that you have to share, the more you share, the more you engage, the more content you put out there that's useful the higher up your accounts will be, activity, just like in real life is a real good indicator of progress and that is what makes you appear higher than others in the ecosystem. keep grinding! :)

the st33m amplify project is an effort to bring vloggers, content creators, youtubers and to bring in general the bloggers of the world into steem and show them they can add steemit to their income streams and have a more open, ad-free experience and share the wealth of their own successes over here on the platform instead of a centralized blog that currently pays them little adsense or nothing at all.

Nice vid as usual. Will you please add links to the articles you're mentioning there, when you get a chance? I'd like to review those.

Great video! This is the first time I come across this and I found this very useful... I have been finding it hard to raise my rep from where it is currently standing.

People need to be aware of how fragile their reputation is early on. A bit of spamming will soon bring it down.
