coming from another platform that does not pay you for blogging can be a bit of a shock, especially when you have to understand a little bit about the steemit blockchain, steem, steem power and how it all adds up to earning rewards on the platform. it can be overwhelming to learn everything at once -- that's why i made this 32 part (or more by the time i post this) content creators courses to learn how to use steem, it's over 3hrs of information in video format that you can watch to get up to steem! :)
you can find some much more detailed/maths information of how the steemit blockchain elsewhere, that's not what i'm discussing in this video but more about the ways i would understand and apply yourself when it comes to posting here on the platform as a creator -- i understand that you are probably busy with the mocking up and the creation phase and that takes up a chunk of your time so i'm hoping this will explain it for you in the short term until you have time to really dig deep if you feel the need too.
you can find a wealth of information about steem and steem power in existing, well written and more detailed white papers of the steemit ecosystem if you require to understand how steem it made, where the money from proof of work comes from and why it costs money to create for instance a steem account.
