In 2008, the Federal Reserve denied there was a problem. Subprime was contained they said. Even as companies were collapsing and the entire global financial system went into cardiac arrest, the central bankers got up in front of the world and lied to everyone and the financial analysts kept believing it. The mainstream media kept reporting it. Ultimately this sickening attempt to calm the fears of the public down, was a failure and terribly unjust. Today the situation is different. But in some ways, it’s the same. The central banks are telling everyone that everything is fine while they reduce interest rates and print a whole bunch of money. Do you trust them?
