I worry about bank bail-in, since the I don't know what good to Canadian citizens have they done Liberals implement the bail-in clause in the budget. One of these days a big swing of some asset price or bond default will cause a bank to owe more in derivatives payout than it's assets. If i remember correctly the off the books canadian big 5 banks derivatives exposure is between 5 to 7 tines its asset. According to the Liberals explanation there will be a bank bond holder to shareholder change to keep the bank(s) afloat. But if that still don't cover the losses then what? CDIC probably don't have enough to cover the deposits...
