It doesn’t take a genius to figure out the pension situation is looking worse and worse, every day. But why is this the case? The stock market has been rising for nearly a decade and the economy is supposedly booming. Unemployment is at a record low and the moon is made of swiss cheese. Why are major pension funds unable to maintain the stability of their funds or at least the perception of stability? Something is certainly going on behind the scenes.
