Dtube: Bedtime Stories!

in dtube •  7 years ago

Hi Dtube!

This is the first time Daddy has appeared in the videos!
Here is a video of Toby and Daddy reading bedtime stories together :)

We've always had a bedtime routine that consisted of story time and we've started reading to him before bed from when he was about 4 months old. (He is 23 months old here)
We think that this is one reason why Toby loves books so much and loves to talk way earlier than his peers :)
We love how interactive he is with reading time and his favorite books!
It does take a while to help him like a new book but if it is fun he will warm up to it quicker :)

In this video Daddy reads Toby two of his favourite books - his first book ever - The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle and his first ever Dr Seuss book - Green Eggs and Ham (Which I never knew a 1 year old could have so much attention span for! It's a long book!)

We set up this colourful IKEA canopy tent which was a hand me down from my cousin.
My friend also gave Toby these lovely animal fairy lights which he loves and it encouraged him to stand.
It has made his reading experience much nicer and welcoming. It's also great for videos ;)

The gear used here is mummy's @vincy professional Canon DSLR MkIII that she uses for work and hence the resolution is very large and quality quite nice :)
