Fiddle tune - Kiss me waltz

Here's a slow one, the slow ones always trip me up a bit.
I will bring you a fast one tomorrow!

Part of my work in this world is running and instructing for an after-school music education program that teaches kids k- 8th how to play tradotional mountain music on banjo, guitar, fiddle, mandolin, bass, and voice.

Last semester I had a class of sixteen students at one of our three locations! We also help to instill a sense of indentity by teaching other aspects of Appalachian mountain culture.

It's really great you do that after school program. I feel like keeping the mountain traditions alive is so important. Although I am from Lexington, my family is from Floyd Co, Hi Hat specifically. And I do love the fiddle, I always get teary-eyed - I come from an emotional lot haha. Great work!

Oh I'm so happy I just found you. I'm an avid contra dancer. I play the fiddle, and I have just decided to get myself a mandolin. Really exciting stuff.
