The problem with bitcoin is that it is too volatile to be used as a currency. Do I wish that I had bought it in 2009, sure but now that there are futures trading in it, watch the Wall Street guys take advantage. Remember also that bitcoin is totally virtual, so what happens if the www goes down? As I said, I wish I had some but now it is getting scary.
