Nanotechnology and nanobots are everywhere, pharmaceutical drugs, washing powder, chemtrails. This AI is self replicating, can think for itself and can mess around with the functions of the body. Nano is also the cause of 'Morgellons disease'. This is no longer a conspiracy folks do the research! To view please click on the thumbnail above.

Sources?

There is tonnes of references online at the touch of a button, if you are just starting out a good point to start is Harauld Krautz Veller.

This reeks of CGI

I call BS. This looks a lot like computer-generated CGI. If it isn't, then provide some valid sources because this would be an astronomical breakthrough.

First question in my mind: What's the energy source driving the mechanics of the arms, that obviously must be rolled up inside to extend so far. Leaving little room for control mechanics. Looks unrealistic out of a physical perspective. No one will waste time of their life-span to research unicorns. Same goes for this — unless you present a better case.

To clarify: I'm not saying it can't be true. I just won't waste time researching it with the information given. Occam's razor.
