Hey guys good day!!!!.
I'm really excited as I type these words now. I don't even know where to start from but start i will. I have been on steemit for about two months now and it has been a journey. I joined precisely November 24th 2017.
I started out as a total novice at first but @ifioklee who I will always hold in high esteem gave me some mentoring and in no time I became a capable steemian.
The steemit platform has proved true to its words.
They have been rewarding it's users for their contents. I have made sure that my fellow friends and colleagues know about steemit and I have brought more than 30 of them to the steemit platform. This I am glad of. Most of them have started earning too.

Well that's not main the purpose of my post today. I am actually writing about my new phone which I just purchased thanks to steemit.

I just bought an Infinix note 4 mobile phone.yaaaaay!!!!

I purchased it for approximately 22sbd.

THE DAY OF PURCHASE
****Saturday 27th of January 2018****
That day myself and @folly-pandy met in the school hostel .I told him about my urgent need for a new device.
My former device, tecno y2 was so messed up. It was low on space and was always hanging. It was so small and had very low specifications .So using it was quite hectic.
So @folly-pandy advised me to get a new one.. @Ungest as well concurred with that as well.(I had messaged him online).
So I and @folly-pandy made plans to go to an Android hub and purchase a phone. I already had the Infinix note 4 in my mind for a long time now. So, when it was time to talk about which phone I wanted to get, I wasted no time with that.
The Infinix note 4 device was built to my taste with lovely specifications (In my next post I will make a video talking about the specs of the phone plus the official unboxing of it..The one above is the unofficial one.haha).
What made me go for it was the 13megapixels rear camera it possesses. I'm a photographer and I do a lot of smartphone photography, so I really enjoy using high quality cameras.
So let's come back. After making plans, me and folly-pandy left for town.

We boarded a bus.

I had taken along @elenzy 's phone (he stays in the school hostel as well).

We arrived town and alighted from the bus. We went to the first tech hub and priced the phone. They sold for a whooping 57,000 Naira which was way higher than the price I had seen online. We left the hub and moved over to another hub.

It's a really popular one called SLOT. The price here was really outrageous. The Infinix note 4 here was going for a whooping price of 60,000 Naira.
At this point I was discouraged, I started wondering if I had checked the product directory well and if I hadn't mistaken some digits along the way.
I left this hub as well but I had faith in my heart knowing that I was going to get the phone that day(Maybe it's because there's a very long line of phone hubs in that vicininty .)

Next stop was "Royal line". Its another gadget hub in the city of Uyo ,Nigeria.

I was greeted by a pretty receptionist . I asked her about the phone and she brought out a price catalogue-ish . She showed me the price and I was dumbfounded

51,900 naira???????????

Man!! That was too good to be true. I asked her some questions and I was so happy about the phone. It came with a warranty form in case of any complaints I might have concerning the phone in the near future.

She brought my baby and I fell in love with her instantly. The phone had a dark blue cover which was so beautiful.

I paid for the phone via credit card

While the lady was processing the payment I took this photograph of @folly-pandy.

The lady processed the payment and I could open the phone now.

I unboxed the phone and checked it out.

It came with an earphone , a USB charger head, and a USB cable.It also had the warranties and user manual inside too.
I was so happy right there.
I did a video where I unboxed it right there. @folly-pandy recorded it.

Finally ,

I would say Steemit has come to stay and it is helping a lot of lives(mine inclusive).

The steemit Blockchain on which the steemit platform is run has the highest transaction speeds and also has free transaction rates. These and other benefits have given steem a lot of potential. Hopefully in the nearest future the steemit currency will be one to reckon with and by then we will be glad we talked into it early enough..
