Sorry about the poor video quality, the camera I use for self filming isn't the greatest. Last week, I showed you bees at their calmest, this is the other end of the spectrum, this colony was getting way too aggressive and with little kids running around the queen had to go. I am surprised at the short life of bees, if they are gonna die off in only 6 weeks or so. I thought they lived far longer. I noted a couple times when you seemed to adjust your clothing, and I assume bees got inside your protective gear. Did you get stung through, or despite, the protective gear? There were certainly a lot of bees that wanted to sting you!
TBQH, this is what concerns me most about beekeeping, as I have been stung by hornets, and don't care for it. LOL I suppose few do =p However if the protective gear is really super effective, and you didn't get stung at all, I suppose I might consider doing more than just follow your posts avidly, and actually try to find some beekeepers hereabouts to learn more from.

Two questions I always get asked is do you get stung and does it hurt the answer is yes! Lol a honey bee sting is nothing like a hornet though and after awhile you stop swelling when you get stung

I had a bald-faced hornet fly inside my ear once, and sting me a few times while I tried to claw it out. It was unpleasant. I hear a fly buzz anymore and it's on!
I might have some difficulty keeping it together enough to work while being stung =/
