Dtube Confessions: Why is Morale So Low on Steemit?

A new computer will be a good investment for you.

Regarding money: People all know how to make more cash, but they never think about needing less cash.

Needing less puts you more in touch with basic human living. More Nature, more physical work, it is good for your mind, spirit and body.

True progress nowadays would be what I have described above.

All this technological and scientific advance has made people lazy, stupid and in many cases even mentally and socially retarded.

Yeah, I'm not sure a new computer is going to change dtube's lagginess, but thanks.

I agree that less is more. I grew up poor, I am still poor. I have always had to figure out how to make do on very little. It does make you more resourceful. Yet, having 3 children to take care of makes finances more difficult. Your life is filled with more joy than you could ever imagine, but more expenses than you could ever dream. This is not to mention the absolute dumpster fire that is the American healthcare system. Before my husband switched jobs, we were paying close to half of our wages toward our medical insurance, which wasn't even entirely comprehensive.

So living out in the wilderness sounds wonderful, unless you have 3 kids and pressing medical problems like myself. Some things just cost money, and a lot of it.

Agreed, solar panels, a house outside with property, farming and all that stuff costs a fuckton.

Only after you bought it you can start saving.
