So the countdown is on and only four days to go until we are back in Africa for another overland safari. Here is a clip from our time in swakopmund.

So we headed out into the sand dunes of the Swakopmund desert for a day of quad bike riding and sand tobogganing.

This was super fun riding the quad bikes through the huge sand dunes. and redlining the quad bikes on the flats. It was like being on a roller coaster riding up and down the sand dunes it was so much fun!!!

Then to break up the riding and have a rest, then we had a go of some sand tobogganing.

Man that was a lot of fun!! you go so fast down the sand dunes its crazy!! just make sure you have waxed up your toboggan enough to get the best distance down the dune.

The only problem was once you have gone down the hill you had to walk back up it.

Man that was a mission! every step you take your feet sink in, and it's like you have to take two steps for every one step to get back up the dune.

But it was totally worth it for this experience!

I highly recommend heading out for the day on quad bikes if you ever find yourself in Swakopmund Namibia.
