I’ve also been reluctant in getting the box Cos we have a great Japanese grocery story near my end of town so I just pick and choose what I want hahaha

Hahaah yeh we were a little hesitant but we thought to give it a try and see, and since it’s Xmas haha

I think it's more ideal for people who aren't familiar with Japanese treats, so they can have a little sample of each thing. It removes the confusion of "too many options" and stop them from trying something new. Here you can try different things and if you don't like them, it's not so bad. If you like something new then you have won. Of course, if you know what you are getting then it's easier to go through the grocery.

And also cos I like being surprised haha and if I went to a grocery I would be picky and choose the cheap things lol

hahaha i agree with choosing the cheap stuff.... i'm sometimes like that too.

yah and also the fact the unboxing (surprise factor to it)

And great for videos hahaa

Someone sure looked like he couldn’t wait to open some of those lol! He’s so cute! I’ve thought about ordering a snack box before as well but was nervous to. I may do that some day just to try different things. So would you do it again?

Hehe thanks for watching! Yeh I’m trying to get him more involved - he’s a natural at getting attention lol. I think I would try a different one and see - there are so many different types of boxes! I generally like trying out new things

If you’re nervous about it you could do a taste tester version or a smaller one.
I was hesitant to get the premium box but my hubby was like why not get it cos it’s Christmas haha

Haaa he is a natural! Thanks for that tip! Getting a taste tester is a great idea to start with.

just a while ago I was thinking about order one of these boxes, I bought some snacks in amazon but what these boxes bring are quite exclusive, you motivated me to buy one in January

Everything looked really good. The cake in a box looked epic. Let me know if the cake on the box is representative of the actual cake.

The cake in box tasted pretty good! I have had similar before and it tasted more like cardboard but this one tasted more like real cake hehe

Good. Is there anything from China that you dont have in Australia you miss? Some Chinese people told me they miss 糖葫芦 lol

Posted using Partiko Android

Haha what I miss isn’t the food itself as much cos you can really get most here. Just may not be as good quality and definitely not as cheap! I miss the convenience, the transport, the shops and markets open late etc. oh there’s one thing I miss- Duck glass noodles haha

Posted using Partiko iOS

Once youre in Asia, you finally know the definition of the word “convenience”. These 老外 dont know a damn thing about it lol.

I can go to a supermarket and easily buy duck. I know for a fact that youre jealous!

😱😱😱😒😏

You know even though I’m Chinese on the outside I’m quite white washed and don’t know a lot of Chinese slang like that “old outsider” one you said below hahah

Posted using Partiko iOS

Lol, if you speak Cantonese, you will probably say 鬼佬 instead. But 鬼佬 in Mandarin is a derogatory name for foreigners but in Cantonese, it is what you call us.😂

Posted using Partiko Android

ooh nice you know canto too??

We do not have those kinds of Japanese snacks here @vincy and I do not know if I had some too in the past.

Ohh maybe you could get a box too! I can give you a referral code for $5 if you like
It’s worldwide shipping

Look at all the treats, I think my children will gladly share with you. Haha.

And yes, they are not cheap.

If we want to get Japanese goodies, we will go to Daiso. Or some Japanese outlet in the mall.

Arigato for sharing. Hehe.

#zap

Thanks for watching!! Yeh kids love presents hahaa and it’s his first Christmas where he understands what opening presents is hehe.. true I forgot about daiso!

I don't think they have expired. I think it has a production date in 2018 and a 'best before date' of 2019 sometime. It looks like a fantastic assortment that should keep you occupied well into the new year. :D

Haha but it looks like it says 2014!! Lolol

Japanese Snacks
Love almost all things Japanese
And you know what's funny?
The first time I went to Japan in my early 20's, I wasn't adventurous enough to eat their Bento's....
I ate instant noodles right through the 3 weeks I was there.... booooo

Fabulous 2019 to you and lil champ :D

Wwowww instant noodles for that long! Glad you’ve come out of your shell now ;) and your kids will make you eat all sorts of things I’m sure 😜 happy new year!

Yes, The Hubs introduced me to a tonne of different kinds of food
The kids of course, already exposed hahaha :)

Hehe I’m guessing his personality is quite opposite yours? I’m the one that introduces my hubby to new things (besides steemit lol) or makes him try them anyway haha

Posted using Partiko iOS

True that :)
Opposites attract eh ;p
