For the would-be photographer who struggles with having lights, a studio, latest camera, or a full staff this video is for you, especially if you have 2018 goals! You'll learn between good light and great light. I photographed a model about to get on a TV show and we shot in all natural light with barebones equipment - my first generation Canon 7D. In this photography tutorial, I wanted to show that all you need is a willing subject, camera and the sun. Shooting outdoors is easy and fun! We all have access to that, even if it's just an iPhone. Shooting in natural light is easy, fun and with little bit of practice you'll be amazing at it. Everything in this video you also have access to like golden hour light, natural light, etc...

I took a first generation Canon 7D camera and that is all I had. I used one lens, a Canon 70-200 L Series lens. We used the sun, shot at the beach and came out with images published already.

Wow! This is an awesome lesson at how to take advantage of the natural light for the benefit of our photographs. Very instructive and informative, especially for the learner. Thank you very much.

Thank you so much! That makes me really happy because that was the goal. Yes we can do beautiful photographs with just what's available, the sun! Happy you liked it.

Of course and thank you for watching. I'm happy you thought it was a great guide. I have more uploading currently. I appreciate your words.

good sharing for photography enthusiasts :)

Happy that you think so, thank you! We focus so much on getting the latest and greatest but I want to remind that the best light is our own sun...which is oddly enough what all lights try to mimic.

Sun light is great and provide the best lighting.

Thanks for this... I love to make photos with the sunlight... as natural as a can...

Happy you love natural light also. It's the best light, better than any expensive light. And the camera industry want us to feel inadequate if you don't have the latest & greatest.
