What's good my fellow Steemians! I hope you all had an amazing Christmas if you celebrate, I know I did!
I was feeling pretty great after coming off of my rest days and decided to add some weight lifting to my normal 2 mile run!
Day 5 & 6
Just in case you all were wondering why I jumped from day 4 to day 7, I decided to use the last two days as rest days, which I plan on taking every week!
Normally I plan on using those days to give you all an update on how the week went, how i'm feeling, and my goals for the next week!
Workout
- 2 mile run | 16:00 mins | 7.7 mph
Excercise | Sets | Reps
- Goblet Squat | 2 | 10
- Chin up | 2 | 10
- Lat Pull D | 2 | 10
- Seated Cable row | 2 | 10
- Paloff Press | 2 | 10
- Single arm Corner Press | 2 | 10
I original want to do three sets of the squats, chin ups, and Lat Pull downs, but my arms got fatigued way faster than last week! I wonder if the 2 mile run had something to do with it. I was worried about straining a muscle again, so I decided to cut a set off, and save myself for tomorrow!
Thanks for all of the support so far everyone, I really appreciate it! It's crazy how Steemit is able to motivate me in so many aspects of my life! All of your support was the last push I needed to bring my health back to the forefront!

Ayeee thats awesome that you're doing this challenge! I'm gunna follow you to cheer you on since im a personal trainer haha - you should try doing some HIIT on the treadmill for like 10-15 minutes instead of running two miles straight (more benefits for you). Also its good to ease into the weight lifting so you're making some really great choices.
