Is the Carnivore Diet good for low iron? (Raw chicken liver edition!)

in dtube •  6 years ago

So after two successes in a row, I decided to go for a third with this video. In my effort to adhere to the Carnivore Diet in Thailand, I got myself some raw chicken hearts, raw chicken livers and of course another steak. To be fair, I'm not sure if I have low iron or not. I probably don't since I'm pretty healthy in general and have been eating quite a bit of meat lately.

This video was actually kind of fun to do. There was a lot of food and I was feeling very rested from a full day of doing nothing. I got the chance to riff on some topics that had been on my mind for a while.

Living a religious Jewish lifestyle, my rude friend who seems to think that everything I do is a cry for help and that I'm desperate for attention (he's not wrong), and I even got an unexpected visit from a colorful local Thai lady.

Still feeling pretty good from the Carnivore Diet. Although I think I should start adding some fruit to... move things along better.

Don't get me wrong - I love eating crazy stuff like raw chicken liver and surviving to tell the tale. I'd be lying if I said that I didn't like grossing my friends out by eating that stuff in front of them.

But seriously, how can fruit be bad for you? I'd be happy to hear your thoughts below.
