The problem is people thinking they can prosper at minimum wage- federal poverty levels. It’s meant as a safety measure that we don’t have virtual slaves and massive poverty. But because of mentality that people CAN and should prosper working max 30-39hrs a week vs certification for new blue collar(cdl drivers, electricians, plumbers, welders, mechanics, health techs). Minimum wage jobs are a stopgap for teens, teachers, students among others to suplimemt income and enter the workforce. It’s the impetuous I don’t want to be here forever. If the public doesn’t understand that nothing will change.
