Hey guys so...

Last night my Grandfather passed away...

He left us in a peaceful space and I know he was ready to go.

After spending some time thinking about him and the things he taught me...

I was inspired to share this short and truthful message.

The one very obvious thing that my Grandfather taught me, was this:

@axios Omg you bastard making me cry! always laughing 😝 . Good on you for honouring your grandfather and continueing his lesson, he is proud of you right now! Sorry for your loss, I pray his next round of life is even more blessed then His last was with a genuinely great human being for a grandson.

Oh man :( I'm SO sorry about your grandpa. Here I was, asking you about dtube when you have more important things on your mind!! Double thanks for your help now.

It helps a LITTLE knowing that they are at peace and ready to go, but it is still beyond hard to deal with losing a loved one.

I almost lost my grandma a few months ago and by some miracle, she's still around. The doctor gave her less than a week to live, and it was terrifying because I was so far away that I didn't think I would get to see her again or say goodbye.

So I know how it feels because the scare was so recent for me. Especially if you're close to him like I am my grandma.

My grandma is seriously one of my best friends. She said I can flash her at her funeral (as long as the priest isn't looking. We have this weird thing where we flash each other sometimes. Weird sense of humor, I guess lol).

I'm glad you remember the lessons he taught you, and at least those lessons will stay with you forever. Thanks for sharing something so personal with us. My condolences to you. My heart goes out to you and hurts for you. virtual hug

K, I'm going to watch the video now because I'm curious what this lesson is!

Wow - take your time bro.

What a beautiful tribute to your grandfather; I'm sure he's looking down and smiling at you! I read a recent medical study that showed a interesting connection between laughter and the reduction of depression and anxiety in cancer patients; the laughter truly made a difference! I'd say that the world is in need of a little more love and laughter. Thanks for sharing and I'm truly sorry for your loss; grandparents are amazing.

Sorry to hear that. I feel the pain as well.

I like the post that you created this, success continue and make a better work again @axios

My condolences to you, Axios. May your grandfather rest in peace.

GREAT POST i shall go ahead and upvote you check out my blog

Seriously, dude? His grandfather passes away, and your using this forum to advance your own blog?

I know the process is automated and you're leaving this type of comment on every post regardless of the context, but I feel this is just heartless.

i get you man you find the weak to destroy so saying these things makes you look good you might miss the point but its me supporting him in a time of need

That was never my intention. I thought you were going around posting comments indiscriminately. Had you replied to Axios' post directly (rather than to my comment), I wouldn't have thought to downvote you.

Long story short, I've removed the flag. I still think you should have stopped at 'I shall go ahead and upvote your content,' but maybe you didn't mean to cash on his misfortune.

Not that my downvote means anything, as I can't in anyway affect your post payout with my tiny $0.01 flag, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

My condolences to you and the family. You did a great job of highlighting your Grandfather's life.

Best wishes to you and your family AND - it's great that you are able to remember your grandfather in this way - with laughter and joy.

I feel sorry for your loss. My condolences to your whole family... Thanks for telling us a little bit about how your grandfather was.

Sorry for the loss, my man. You're bringing so much joy to a lot of people, be proud, Axious!

Sorry for your loss @axios.

Dear people, everyone gets hurt when they leave

When someone dies or disconnected from our life, we may be able to adapt but the memory and legacy left is unforgettable. It is a pleasure your grand dad pass on something to you.

What an inspiration your grandfather was to you. Always remember that joy with him and he will never truly be gone from you. I hope this difficult time for you is made a bit easier by knowing you have many who are behind you wishing you happiness even in this time of sorrow.
