Hey @axios! Great content as always! I like how specific your posting times are haha. Also, I learned how to fix the dtube thumbnail issue the hard way. Figured out the method you discussed is the easiest too.
BTW, I'm gonna be honest here and say that the chipmunk voice for majority of the content was a little unpleasant. It was funny in the beginning when you mention all the questions from people but I would've preferred your actual voice for the answer parts. Just a thought.

But I have found a bit easier way to have those thumbnails in big size. When you go to steemit post. There is that link. In that link there is that (<img src=)
after this there is the image link... You can just simly replace tthemwith a different link. Like I post my thumbnails to imgur.. And then use imgur direct link to replace that. For me, that seems quicker :)

I posted my first dtube video yesterday and I actually have a question. Someone said that dtube takes 25% of your rewards, so you shouldn't post on there. Is that true?
Also, is it harder to get visibility with dtube? I did a video on Chinese New Year that I thought was one of my best ones so far (only been around for a few weeks) but nobody even saw it really, whereas people always see my other posts.
Is that because it was dtube?

D.Tube takes 25% of your Steem Power earnings, which is really not much at all considering that the SP earnings are based on the current value of Steem.
If you made $100 on a post then you would get about $75 for authoring and the other $25 would go to the curators. Then out of that $75, you would get 50% of that in SBD (37.5 SBD) and 50% in SP based on the value of Steem (7.5 if Steem is worth $5).
So Dtube will take 25% of that 7.5 SP you collected, which would be 1.875 Steem.
My first thought is that if you just started posting videos and your audience isn't used to videos, then you likely won't get the engagement you expect right away. That's usually a common thing in social media. Once you start posting videos more frequently you'll gain followers who are expecting video from you more often.
I would definitely recommend following the guidelines I suggested in the video for tagging.

Also I think from the steemit version, you can't even tell that there is a video to click on. I don't know how to make that obvious.

That's why I always include a play icon on my thumbnail so that it's more obvious.
Or you can just say, "click the video below". That also works.

sweet vid @axios with great tips. i am playing catch up with all these tricks and skills so appreciate knowledge in fast forward.
so i got real excited looking at your improv dlive idea....but i guess there is no way to watch it. shame it doesnt save to watch after the live...or does it??? your name was thrown at me by winny when i presented an idea of passing back and forth an improv sketch with ddaily crew. i had thought to play a game and follow the set up of a short form game...only with passing it back and forth part by part. the dlive idea is great though..more the real time of improv.
i have been involved with improv for what is a long time now, and initially when i joined steemit back in september it was what i most wanted to bring to the platform.
