"How the hell am I going to pay rent?"

My inner voice has been repeating this phrase over and over again ever since 2018 started.

This year has already pushed me well beyond my comfort zone...

But at the same time, it has unveiled some of my most cherished discoveries.

And thus today I share with you all a story that I am very grateful to share.

Here's how DTube saved my ass and paid my rent :)

Thanks man, this is so inspiring. I might share my full story in a vlog one day, but in short, I lost my job due to me being myself, on facebook and youtube. It reached the point where I had to delete all my youtube videos and deactivate my facebook account (which were not paying me anything) to try and regain employment. On dtube, I have also just been myself. I've had a few dtube upvotes myself, and although right now, I'm just reinvesting all my rewards back into SP, in one particular week, I earnt more from dtube upvotes than i was earning in the job that i lost, I forsee this platform as my best future option.
Peace.

@bobaphet wow brother that's amazing. The universe works in mysterious ways, doesn't it? So cool that we share a similar path. We'll have to exchange stories soon! I'd love to connect on a vid chat one of these days!

This is giving me hope to get my life in order

Anything is possible @docwebster... and that's coming from someone whose life has been far from order for some time!

I really need to get on board Dtube. Mind that you are not the one who needs to pay his rent, a lot of us out there need the dough. Thanks for sharing really, it was an interesting and quite assuring.

Heard that @izge. If you enjoy creating video content or are interesting in exploring that medium, I would definitely recommend giving it a shot. Be creative and consistent and you'll do well :)

Wow! Nice to hear that bro!
I have the same thing right now! :d

Also nice to hear that you are using them jazzhop music! :)

Heard that bro - is the personal account coming soon?

And yeah man jazzhop is where it's at!

I am waiting on that approval for the account. The waiting game sure is not fun.

AAnd I got it!

Well deserved! You needless to say do amazing work here and your hustle is 💯to say the least, congratz!!

I really appreciate that bro. Means a lot. Thank you :)

Hola Axios! New to Steemit, you are one of the first videos I've seen. I'm in a similar position to you, money wise, so this is quite an inspiration - thank you for sharing! I'm gonna comment on another of your videos about social anxiety, as this is something I am a bit of an expert on (unfortunately!). Maybe I can help you out :)

Welcome to Steemit brother! Looks like we have a lot of things in common. Really looking forward to seeing your upcoming videos!

Nothing gets one to take action like having their ass put to the fire.

Congrats on making things work!

hahaha @achievesuccess you are so right! I've always called myself a clutch player as I tend to operate better under pressure. So whenever the the shit hits the fan in my life, I try to just see it as a blessing ;-)

I am so happy for you. I know the financial struggle and what it is to hustle for rent money from the past. It's overwhelming and stressful. I am glad you were able to manage it through hard work and dedication. Very inspiring true story. I bet many can resonate on that.

@silviaturon, as much as it sucks, it's also one of those life experiences that can be quite useful right? You really begin to value your time and work as it suddenly becomes exponentially better than the stress of not knowing how to survive haha.

Thanks for sharing these kind and uplifting words!

This is awesome! I'm struggling financially myself (website designer/developer and tech content creator here). DTube hasn't liked anything of mine yet, but it's been hard for me to post every day due to other commitments I've had.. Also, being a tech content creator and no money or sponsors sending me anything to review, it's hard to regularly make content for DTube.

DLive has been helpful for me so far, though. And I'm sure things will be getting better for me on DTube. (It's already better than Youtube for me)

Hey @joeytechtalks thanks for sharing that! I experienced very similar things, especially when I was first starting. I've technically been on Steemit and DTube since the end of September and it wasn't until February that I actually found my place on here. That's awesome you're finding some support on DLive, maybe that's where your content is best suited! Keep exploring, you'll find it :)

Totally! I upload to both DTube and DLive and when I get my graphics card replaced, I'll be doing more DLive live streams again.

One other thing that makes it hard for me to post daily is not just having my web development work (I can work around that) but my retail job that I work Friday through Sunday. Otherwise, I'd totally be finding something to post daily to DTube. Of course with my content being more centered on tech, I'm kind of restricting myself to what I can create too, which I don't mind. :)

This is awesome. Thanks for sharing your DTube journey. It's inspiring. I'm trying to build a business myself and even a small amount of extra funds would help me tremendously.

@nikema that's so great to hear! If you post consistently and authentically then you will most definitely find a new stream of income start to form!

This gives me hope... thank you :)

So great to hear @elevatedlife. Cheers bro!

a question that is easy - difficult to answer my husband of course this depends for the person who saw it what is not so brother? @axios.
@leozulkifli.

Wow! No joke? That's so cool!
