I think we are more creative than the generations before us. I work in real estate/construction and I get talked down to a lot by older men in the business. They are better than I am with a hammer and nail and I don't deny that, but I know how to use the internet to connect, promote and advertise. I create value for our company and do a lot in sales... We live in a different time and different tactics need to be used to survive and find success. As long as you're enjoying life and finding that success, keep doing what you're doing.

I think it's a tale as old as time for older generations to look down on younger people. It's more of a difference in priority than anything else. Younger people value different things, so that can look to older generations like them not having the discipline or willpower to pursue what older people value, when in reality, they just don't want it.

You know, the older generations just don't know what you are capable of doing in these days, especially now that the internet exists and social media...the possibilities that are out there is not understood by the older generations.
