TRAVEL UPDATE | Finding Comfort Where I Once Felt Fear

in dtubedaily •  7 years ago

Hey guys,

Just a quick update before I head off to my next destination. I said goodbye to my mum yesterday and I’m finally on my own and now I finally feel like I’m actually travelling (not just vacationing!) It’s interesting to observe how my mentality in dealing with travel situations over the years has changed. Everything new and uncertain use to terrify me and now I find a strange comfort being in these situations.

I hope you guys enjoy these little chit chat videos. I do plan to make more vlog style content but for now I’m really enjoying just chatting with you about my thoughts and feels.

I hope you’re well!

Biggest love to you | neeQi 😘

Someone is super tanned! Enjoy Borneo. Show me the lush areas, please

Couple of days on the beach will do that to you! I hope to have some lushness to share with you soon. 😁

Thanks for checking in - it's always great to hear how you're doing. Safe travels my friend and I look forward to hearing your next one. xx

💗💗

Great update and happy to hear you are enjoying your travel time and experiences. Keep up the great work my friend.

Thanks! @captainbob

Hope you had a pleasant flight. Love the moon and stars :)

It was a long day of travel! I’m glad to be on the other side.

wahaha! "really sneaky spot" I do that too. I try and find a little corner where I think no one will be.

Im still getting comfortable with the public vlogging so I’ll try my best to hide if I can!

I'd forgotten where Borneo is, ...so a quick look at googlemaps and I've resolved that little issue. Now it's just sit and wait for the Borneo pics to start rolling in, so I can see what the place looks like.

I’ve got some things on the way. I hope you enjoy!

Way to go @neeqi, I remember my 3rd time in Cusco, I was with a Danish friend, we had one night there before flying off to La Paz, and we decided to catch a bus, from just down the road from the airport, into town instead of a taxi, we were both heavily baggaged up, and we squeezed into this mini bus, it was a blast :)
Peace.

It’s definitely a lot of fun! A little crazy but that’s why it’s exciting. All the best things happen out of the comfort zone.💗

Sound like you have little adventure in BKK haha . I like to listen when you talk so I don't mind video like this :) I'm excited to see your Borneo vlog though :P Have a safe trip there and enjoy your time xoxo

I’m glad to hear that @anne-c! I’ve been moving around so much this last week so now I’m hoping to get a bit more consistent with my videos. I can’t wait to share some of Borneo with you! And maybe see you here too 😉

@neeqi I will try my best. I was looking at Jungle boat tour on the river very interesting. All nature that I never seen before.

I went out to one of the national parks yesterday to see some of the big and smelly giant flowers. There is some really cool wildlife here! I think you would have the best time. 😊

The adventure begins, complete with airport announcements!

I can feel the excitement and nervous tension, I remember that feeling the first time I left the states, close to 12 years ago.

I love little hiding spaces like that, especially if they have power and internet.

I've spent far too much unexpected time in airports though, 8 hour delay in Chicago (they had to get a new plane apparently) and an overnight experience in Shenzhen airport because I missed the last flight to Shanghai.
