Yesterday I talked about sharing my music with content creators, movie makers and others musicians by making my music "open source" and free to everyone. Many artist expressed they wanted to do the same thing and a few even suggested making a specific tag.
I started posting all my music based content under the royaltyfreemusic for other content creators to have easy access to free music. If you make music and want to share your work with other creative minds start posting your music under this tag today, we can create a strong asset for content creators.

I feel this can be a huge asset to Steemit and the ecosystem of the blockchain. I hope other artist decide to start using the tag. I'm hoping to make the music community stronger on Steemit, I think this might be my first real big contribution. Start posting on royaltyfreemusic today !

I'm sorry but the tag royaltyfreemusic is misleading, royalty free doesn't mean free of charge it means free of needle drop royalties, i.e. you don't have to pay royalties every time the track is played in your production. You should instead use copyright free (creative commons) or free music tag. The outcome of the royalty free music phrase misuse is why many authors face accusations online for offering paid royalty free music.
