Yeah, for Jazz especially true. The last few years more Jazz music was sold on vinyl than CDs. The last surviving record store around here also still stocks mostly vinyl. While the available headroom on CDs far exceeds that of vinyl, I think that sound engineers also tried to use all that headroom in modern mixes, and this may lead to fatigue in the listener. I prefer listening to vinyl myself even if I have to concede that the sound of CDs is superior.

Edit: Aldi is all over and they will stock anything they can get their hands on for a really decent price it seems.

@onnovocks Yes, it is starting to take off here. We have vinyl at Target, Barnes and Noble as well. I prefer vinyl as well. In fact when I got back into vinyl the first record I bought was Hendrix -Electric Ladyland ...I just sat there with my mouth open ...in awe. Love it. :-) I'll start posting my vinyl pics again.
