DTUBE curation team has to watch and vote on hundreds and hundreds of videos every day. Think about that, Nathan. How do they get paid? Did you ever consider it? You make a 20 second video complaining that money went to the wrong account, but you can also see that the account is over 9 months old and reputation level 50. Are you aware that there are scammers and fakers EVERY DAY ON DTUBE uploading stolen content, committing identity theft, and trying to get some steem for free? I guess this week everyone wants to hate on Dtube. But it's very unbecoming of you, Nathan, in the future I hope you will have a more positive attitude towards this platform which rewards HUNDREDS of users every week, each and every video being watched and upvoted by a VOLUNTEER. How about instead of encouraging dtube snaps, you encourage people to become better filmmakers, storytellers, editors, sound mixers and so on... THIS is what will bring viewers to this platform-- not shaky 55 second videos about no topic, think about it. Peace.

I'm not angry with Dtube Upvoting fake contents

But I'm not satisfied with Dtubers are not caring about these kind of stuff. I see many people talking about how much they love Dtube and how long they're with Dtube and how quality their contents and stuff.

Nobody is commenting on new dtubers video and the overall contribution is lacking.

I blame myself for everything and I'll FIX everything and Dtube will move forward!

Always appreciate your continuous contribution to Dtube!!!

I appreciate your reply brother. You don't need to blame yourself for anything, tho. In reality most people on dtube are creators, not consumers, of content. There are not thousands of people watching dtube everyday, only a few hundred really. I admire your effort, but dont be too hard on yourself or anyone, we are all doing what we can.

@nathanmars, So, what is your take on this? and how you are seeing it? In my opinion Dtube is doing great but yet when questions are raised like Unfair Upvoting is going on then in my opinion at least Dtube Team should try to communicate with it's community. In my opinion at this moment their is big gap between Dtube Content Creators and Dtube Team. And if Dtube Team can create an effective bridge with Dtube Content Creators Community then who knows we collaboratively can put efforts to improve Dtube Economy. And i am big fan of Dtube but the actual problem arises when their is Communication Gap because this gap will going to born many perceptions. And there is one more issue here and that is, when we talk about the Content Creation, their should be some framework added to it, framework which will not restrict the content creators but these framework will going to let every content creator know which content will be curated, how much is current reach of Dtube Team, what are the updates, advantages, limitations and whatever possible. And in my opinion we are in Decentralised Economy and we all can contribute towards that community in which we hold the Enthusiasm and in which we believe. I believe in Dtube but it have to improve and we all should put effort to improve it.

Communication has always been an issue with Dtube and hope they can bridge that gap at some point. I think they need to hire a marketing team or something to have someone that can communicate with the community on a consistent basis.

Yes, in my opinion you proposed an effective point and as an Dtube Enthusiast, i want to see the growth of Dtube and whole Dtube Community. You'll be little surprised to see the behaviours of some Dtubes with Dtube Discord.

There are less people trying to help and make things better. And you'll find more people begging.

Please note that I'm satisfied with the individual Dtubers contributions and we've many FAKE Dtube LOVERS and they should be KIcked out first.

Yes, this is unfortunate aspect because, our work should speak and we have to strive hard in building up our Networks through continuous Engagements. Only thought of upvote will lead us nowhere. Honestly I'm sure they have done it before and will do it again but probably not on purpose. I don't know who is going through and upvoting with the @dtube team. Sometimes I feel like they are trying to evenly spread their upvote so sometimes I'll get a 20 dollar upvote and other times just 5 and many times never but that's the way it goes. I feel we are lucky and blessed that they even upvote our content because they don't have to and if I didn't get that I'd not be where I am so I take their actions with a lot of compassion because I'm not entitled to theirs or anyone else's upvote.

I'm not blaming Dtube for the mistake...

I'm not satisfied with engagement on Fake contents and We're spending more time fighting with each other but not many people are not taking that extra step to go deeper with issues that we've within Dtube.

Mistakes should make us grow.

So many of us are busy creating content and promoting and all that kind of stuff and our contribution towards moving Dtube forward is lacking.

Nathan, I know you know this but dtube curation team are all humans and humans make mistakes its possible that fake content gets upvoted. A lot of content on dtube is hard to tell if its authentic or not. If people dont get upvotes they will never post again so im sure they just try to take a chance. Im always telling people to do a short dtube intro but most people dont listen or dont want to.

I completely agree and humans making mistakes and I myself made and will be making mistakes along my my journey here.

We need to fix small issues like this when the our community is small. I'm bring new people and they'll give new energy to our platform.

We need Dtubers who care at least a little about the platform and addressing the positive things and also pointing out things that need to be improved. So this something has to be improved and as well as engagement.

Always appreciate the hard work and constant efforts of you!

Also this is some wake up call for people to actually watch the content before commenting. I always check who upvoted the content before cast my upvote and most of upvotes given based on TRUST.

Some of them are to encourage new Dtubers.

Also I'm little fed up watching my fellow Dtubers talk about how much they love Dtube in their contents and not many of them are looking to add value to the platform. I'm here to fix things!

This is starting to unfairly we get from dtube.
I personally will continue to follow your directions,If you say to no longer make posts on dtube, I am ready, and ready for me to go to others, this is for the Indonesian community, and I am ready to rip off the banners that I made.

This is a wonderful sentiment. Caring is not only about being a cheerleader! And you are also one of the best cheerleaders!

I have been putting attention and focus into doing videos again, and I now have a list of videos I want to do. From another comment here I think I should do a dtube intro video!

Getting better at making videos, better at my camera presence, better at speaking on camera, these are all my goals. D.tube is a tool, but we need to define the right job for this tool!

This is a communication tool, and for me, there are certain messages we need to be communicating, about freedom, sustainability, decentralization, community and empowerment. This is not yet a well defined mission, but I keep reminding myself that tools can be used for both good and bad.

We choose Love and Light!

Well hope the Curation team will check it out and to be honest many users are joining and I have been inviting users and I am sure some of them will sure make quality contents as they are really doing great in Steemit. Hope some of them gets the support from dtube and us and be here like all of us or else they might turn their way away from dtube.

Among all the things dtube is doing some matters might skip away from the hands of the curators I am sure they are working hard to keep everything in check. Without supporting new users it will be hard for us to grow in here. We will just be within limits.

Yes brother,I also thougt about that,Some peoples upload the same content over and over again and get upvoted from dtube.Also unauthentic content also get upvoted,though it is very hard to determine.I think dtube is in their early stage and as the time goes on i think this problem will be solved.I am giving my full support to dtube.And i think also that all the members should have some patience in that regard.

Actually I'm not satisfied with Dtubers contribution towards making dtube move forward.

When we get rewarded we should be improving our contributions not just creating contents.

In long term we'll be rewarded highly for our contribution and I'll probably only be upvoting comments only going forward

We always try to give some good videos but we do not get support from those videos but they are really surprised to see that they get support in these videos, so they should take some big steps in their regular work on their platform. Without video, the videos are spread out in different places without supporting them It is really a sad fact that they are given large amounts of support

Many people talk about the unfair upvoting. The solution is very simple: decentralization. The Steem Power should go into smaller communities. Dtube cannot monitor thousands of videos. But many small communites can do this very well. In order DTube to succeed we need decentralization of the Steem Power. It is very simple.

I've uploaded numerous videos via dtube... and got upvoted twice. How can I get upvoted more often. Since I do primarily cooking videos in dtube, you know that it can be so extensive.

Sounds like you already found your topic. and Thanks for asking.

I can promise anything and I can only share my experience.

You've to get connected with some Dtubers and build real relationship with by engaging with their contents. Honest engagement is key
You'll have to be constantly uploading onto Dtube
You need to be willing to ask for help like you did now
Think little long term and try to contribute something to Dtube instead of just focusing on Upvotes and creating contents
In the long term the your audience (people who you're adding value via your contents will be upvoting you not Dtube)
You contents should bring value to people who're consuming.
Always learn as you go and don't use upvoting bots and don't buy courses and try to grow organically

This is my own opinion based on my experience. Hope it helps !

@nathanmars I thought dtube was suppose to have curators, this is totally shambolic if you ask me, it's harsh for people to complain that they're not getting dtube upvotes, but if these people see fake content being upvoted, it's really going to hurt them.
We love dtube and we wish it really get better but seeing this is outrageous really, I hope review these issues and reward the right people after thorougly checking them up.

I still have alot to watch and learn though as I am so new. But right now just having fun with Dtubers as all. I don't even know which is real or genuine or fake. Only time will tell... 😉

But it is so much fun here and DTubers communities are great. @dtube @onelovedtube @drisers @dcooperation. I just don't have much spare time to chit chat at discord due to being full time mother.

Time spent on engaging and curating takes alot on me and I love doing that for the communities I am part of.

You can spot fake content, it is great.

Hey you're doing super awesome job with Dtube and I'm really impressed with dtube engagement.

How to identify Fake Dtube contents..

Look who upvoted the the content and if you see someone who trusted upvoted then it's more likely real
Read the comments on the contents and It'll give you some idea
Look at the history of the Dtube channel and Steemit profile
Look at the number comments posted by the user on STEEM
More importantly watch the contents
Ask question on the comments to if you're curious
And you can find @ iamjadeline's way to identify the fake contents.lol

I myself not a big fan of Discord and I rather see more people active on the comment section than in the Discord channels.

Most people will not agree with me but I do think Discord channels are holding back STEEM blockchain moving forward as well as upvoting bots.

Please always put your life first before Steem and Dtube! I want my fellow STEEMians to live a happy life and steem to become a part of their life. Please never put too much pressure on yourself.

Find new videos and if something pops up at home, I resteem to watch later. Haha. Many different way but all random.

Things will get better for Steem and Dtube - is all we hope for and will work towards it - hand in hand.

It's obviously fake nathanmars, I judge from the video thumbnail type, because since the vlogger is as professional as he doesn't probably have thumbnail thumbnails hangs badly and doesn't look professional. It's obviously using other people's content.

On the one hand we agree @nathanmars.

There is one more side that I want answers to from this writing:

Sometimes we feel that in Indonesia, even though we are currently promoting Dtube and inviting people to try Dtube, then we try to keep those who have just joined Dtube for the long term, but if the Dvube upvote as said in the text is really very do not support our movement to keep those who are new to Dtube.

What's wrong with that, @nathanmars , or is there something wrong with us?
Or we in Indonesia don't need to do that?
or, actually how does @dube work?

hello my sister @nathanamars good night i want to convey our anxiety message from Indonesia maybe you can send it directly to dtube or through your video. for content creators on dtube positive content so dtube is appreciated every time they upload videos every day even though the sound is from dtube even though it is 1%. but every time they upload it once a day, so the content creator is enthusiastic about multiplying video content every day. in my opinion this is a solution so they don't have fraud on the dtube platform
