Thanks for the people that replied to the quick snap yesterday, I got some interaction and some people gave feedback so I’m trying this again today, let’s do it.
To give you an idea of how my day pans out I tend to get up early, then get as much of the voice/audio things done as possible in the morning while I’m fresh and my voice is good — as the day goes on and I’m eating breakfast and lunch I get less in the mood to have my ‘client’ voice on and by the early afternoon I’m over it, so I tend to get that all crushed in the morning.
i use this cool little website called https://e.ggtimer.com to time the sixty seconds, it's great for doing sprints as well, especially if you wanna line up a few hours and sprint through and see how much you can get done in that time.
then, lunch time comes around and I normally take a walk, at least thirty minutes all told, distance doesn’t really matter but fifteen minutes out and fifteen minutes back (often with lunch)
Then afternoons are pretty productive, if I’ve been working on any creative projects then I tend to start doing the graphics and get a framework ready that I can pick up on the next day, I leave it in a fairly complete state so I can go back to it later and carry on.
Would you say you have more time to do the things you wanna do than you did before or are you working more now because you want to established things more properly than you ever did working for clients?
Kinda interested in the following feedback. ..
- do you break down your hours, days or weeks?
- do you automatically put in a day off, downtime
- do you celebrate your wins and if so how and when?
- what’s the hardest thing to keep to on your schedule?
- when your distracted what’s that distraction?
Thanks for taking part! :)
thanks to @zainenn for the logo btw, super rad and for @nathanmars for the idea for the quick fire snap questions, under a minute is perfect

That's interesting.... one of the downsides of posting from Partiko maybe, it seems to have dropped 'n' in everytime I pressed return.
I'll foward it onto the @partiko guys, I'm sure they'll want to sort it out!
Thanks for letting me know.

What's my biggest distraction? New ideas. I definitely try and get the most important things done in the day (whatever that might be at the time) Completing something is often times better than perfection.
