This data was awesome and really a fantastic way to show this @nigelmarkdias

Yes, @FiremanVishal Dubai is doing many out-of-the-box things, like a drone taxi.

Dubai is known for introducing numerous innovations in designing cities, almost as if it was a fantasy or abstract world. You could call this as innovative 'urban planning', but, being an urban planner, I couldn't resist to ask who they are planning or designing these cities or spaces for. it is definitely not for the people who actually live in these cities, rather these flamboyant techniques or concepts are vehicles for whoever plan or design Dubai city, to set a 'global image', one that is portrayed to an exclusive class of millionaires or billionaires from all over the world, who have no clue as to how residents live in the city. Urban Planning if addressed properly, can be innovative, but, it doesn't require out-of-the-world techniques for that; it simply requires a creative & passionate mind.

I’m a resident @planners.city; not an urban planner. Here’s an example of people I meet in Dubai.
