Bitoasis is a UAE based exchange which provides trading of bitcoin and ethereum. Recently they announced the addition of Ripple (XRP) to their trading platform and on 30th January 2018 the XRP/AED pair is tradeable on their platform.
I am not sure if we can see any up trend due to this addition because its just a single exchange. When japan's DM exchange added XRP nothing much happened to the price aswell. We might see some gain if coinbase decided to add XRP but it will be for a short time as happened to other coins added to coinbase, the price goes up and then settles down by time.
But more is expected from XRP as in Feb 2018 a lot of exchanges are planning to add XRP which might put pressure on coinbase to finally adding it.
I personally like to trade on Binance exchange because of very low commission fee and high liquidity.
