I believe that most of you have heard about Dubrovnik. You know, the town where were shooted the scenes of Games of throne, city with rich history, city of wealthy citizens during the past, hometown of many well known Croatian writers, artist and scientist, place with plenty of natural beauty, warm sea and nice beaches. Dubrovnik is well known for it's Walls of Dubrovnik, too.
This town, full of possibilities, is offering something for every single person that decide to take a walk through it's streets.
Exactly this town was mine choice for vacation this summer.
So let me introduce you with a little bit of culture and a little bit of art, a little bit of sport and a little bit of pure nature of this town. Welcome aboard, let's start!
A little bit of culture and a little bit of art
Old town of Dubrovnik, surronded with it's Walls, is unique culture herritage. There You can see how this town was breathing in the past. Dubrovnik was a free Republic with it's own lows, rich trade, maritime routes. Many museums situated in the town show how the Republic of Dubrovnik was functioning.
Here You can see the The Old Town of Dubrovnik, City walls, Rectors Palace:
Spoking about art, especially about litterature, it's necessary to mention old writers of Dubrovnik - Marin Držić (Croatian Shakespeare) was a famous Renaissance author and Ivan Gundulić was creating his works in the Baroque era. Also, it's forbidden to forget the great author from early twenties of 20th century - his name is Ivo Vojnović.
Also, there is a small town Cavtat near to Dubrovnik. Cavtat is a hometown of great Croatian painter Vlaho Bukovac. The first exhibition work of the great Croatian sculptor Ivan Meštrović is in Cavtat, too.

A little bit of sport
Well, this paragraf is actually about extreme sport - bungee jumping.
If You find yourself in Dubrovnik and You are a fan of extreme sport, I highly recommend You to book your jump from Franjo Tuđman Bridge. The bridge is 53 meters high, instructors are very professional and they do their best to make you feel relaxed and happy.
It was my first bungee, definitely not the last. The sky above, the sea below, such a beautifull view and the feeling... the feeling is indescribable. I couldn’t stop smiling for two days.
A little bit of pure nature
For nature lovers this is a heaven on earth. Not just the pure blue sea, but the trees, the plants, the air.
Trsteno is a small place near Dubrovnik and there is situated Arboretum Trsteno. Arboretum Trsteno is the oldest monument of garden architecture in Croatia and the only arboretum in Croatia located on the Adriatic coast.
It is known for its historical parks and for its collection of Mediterranean and exotic plants.
The arboretum was founded in 1948 on the site of a Renaissance summer house with a garden, on a property that had been owned by the Dubrovnik noble family Gučetić-Gozza since the end of the 14th century. In 1949, it was protected by law as a natural monument.
