These are domestic ducks that live at a small overcrowded man-made pond in Verde Village Cottonwood Arizona. Domestic means that they are farm ducks, not wild ducks. They cannot fly to get away from predators or to find food. People will just drop off ducks at ponds when they grow up and aren't cute anymore. All these ducks and geese here are malnourished, and belong on a farm or a homestead where someone will take care of them and give them safe shelter.
