Sometimes, It Just Happens
Everything is going along swimmingly, no problems at all, then bam. Dumpster Fire. It's not your fault, really. One thing leads to another and another and before you know it, whoosh. Dumpster Fire.
It all started when you were craving tacos. Remember? You were debating in your mind whether you wanted soft or hard-shell when it hit you. The rock. It hit you in your shoulder. You don't remember?
The rock hit you on your shoulder and you got mad and started the gigantic dumpster fire and wrote a #neoxian article about it. And now, here we are, reading your giant dumpster fire of an article.
What's a Dumpster Fire?
The official Urban Dictionary article for "Dumpster Fire" is as follows:
Dumpster Fire 1. A complete disaster. 2. Something very difficult that nobody wants to deal with. "This project is a complete dumpster fire."
Urban Dictionary
But I'm here to offer you a different perspective. Perhaps they're not all that bad!
The More Elegant Side of Dumpster Fires
I know, everyone complains about the smell of a dumpster fire, listen I get it. They stink. But if you're just watching a gif of a dumpster fire, or some photos, it's no big deal. And not all dumpster fires are bad, sometimes they can perform a GREAT service for people, who like to write gigantic dumpster fire articles like this one.
Sometimes, giant dumpster fire articles can reward well!
There is a certain sophistication to gigantic dumpster fire articles.
Shut up, That Can't Possibly Be True
I know what you're thinking. You're trying to convince me that a dumpster fire article can be worth something? Really? Yes it is true, but you must abide by the following rules:
You have to use some markup to make it look legit. If you don't, people will think you're just making an s-post and wasting their time.
You must link sources for your photos and gifs. Creative commons man. Creative commons. Taking credit for other people's work is stealing and stealing is bad.
You have to use the right tags. Like #neoxian. If you don't use #neoxian, what's the point, really. And all the other tribes you want tokens for.
You have to have a word count of at least 100 or more. And multiple paragraphs. And don't be lazy with your articles. Even your giant dumpster fire of an article needs to look legit.
Conclusion
I think by now you have a better understanding about the plight that gigantic dumpster fire articles are up against. The discrimination is out of control. Dumpster fire articles are articles too, you know. So next time you're tempted to describe an aweful post as a "Gigantic Dumpster Fire", just remember this post so you can have a better understanding of what an ACTUAL dumpster fire article looks like.
As you can see, they're really not all that bad.
All we are saying is give dumpster fires a chance.
