Curation Trail and Delegation : The Difference it Makes

Since we've been getting that question a lot on the DUnite Discord, we decided to give a more in depth explanation as to what exactly are the differences between Steem Power Delegation and following the Curation Trail.

The first thing you should know is they both help make the @DUnite manual curation program more efficient by giving more value to our Upvotes.

Depending on the way you choose to support the project, you will be getting different advantages that we will list here.

Steem Power Delegation

Delegation is a way to directly increase @DUnite's Upvotes value by temporarily Delegating Steem Power.

The biggest advantage of delegation is that our curation activity will not impact your voting power. This means you keep full control over your account's voting power. You can also get your SP back at any time by setting your delegation amount to 0.

By delegating 10 Steem Power or more to @DUnite, you also get added to the watch list for a higher chance of receiving Upvotes from our curation team.

Following the Curation Trail

When you follow the Curation Trail, you're automatically upvoting the content that gets curated by @DUnite.

Joining the Curation Trail

An advantage of following the Curation Trail is it allows you to receive curation rewards for your upvotes. With the Curation Trail you're not giving away any SP. Which means your upvotes will keep their value. However, keep in mind the Curation Trail WILL USE YOUR VOTING POWER.

So Which One is Better?

Only you know what's best for your situation. Both of these ways to support @DUnite come with their own perks and also their disadvantages.
