Many Steemians create posts to celebrate yet another milestone achieved in their number of followers, as I did a couple of times as well in my time here with you at Steemit.

Today I'm celebrating

the gain in the number of users I follow

No, it has nothing to do with starting to follow everybody at Steemit, but all to do with starting to follow all Dutch speaking people we have on Steemit. Supported by the list @steemspoker is publishing (here) I gained at least 50 new Steemians on my "following" list this evening.

The Dutch community is still a small one, but we are becoming more and more active. Since the Dutch language is small in the world, I think it is a good idea for us Dutchies to connect better. This starts with following each other so we are and keep aware of each other.

What will be next? I don't know, but it could be anything from meet-ups with the Dutch Steemit community to major expansion of the number of Dutchies on Steemit. Maybe we can bring the Electronic Dance community to Steemit. It seems that everybody in my little country nowadays enjoy that style of music in one way or the other; Steemit NL can become a community of 10s to 100s of thousands users easily.

I'm looking forward to what will come next and what we are able to achieve.

For now I like to welcome all the Dutchies and hope to see and read some good stuff in posts and comments.
