To be fair, I leave the decision up to you, since you are the one who's living there, but it can't be circumvented that on the international media, his presidency is full of scandals.

As a counter-argument, I can accept and agree that some of the biggest media are left-leaning which may cause a bias about his "image" in the media, but even if I "tune down" what I heard about him (especially on his behaviour on opposing politicians and the War On Drugs) I'm still not a supporter.

Though it should be noted that I'm quite much against the idea of "War On Drugs", it has always had backfire effects, just look at the US.
