SUMMARY PLAN : Earneo plans to build an equal platform where everybody earns. Content creators, viewers and moderators can earn the utility token of the platform (RNO). The income of the users is gotten from the advertisement revenue of the platform. Assisting the platform is Blockchain and IPFS technology to help develop a decentralized system where the community will be in full authority.
Earneo will become the first decentralized video sharing platform with the help of blockchain, the community moderation system and IPFS technology.
Content creators would upload their videos on the platform and only the community will be able to decide which content is appropriate or not. IPFS technology stores the videos on the platform and helps it to be censorship-defiant. The community will have the power to delete a content using a rating and voting system.
The vision of Earneo is to give full control to the community. Earneo will let users use a third-person identity blockchain service to connect to the platform. It allows the users upload and watch different contents without having to provide their personal information. Like some creators that would want to upload footage anonymously for their privacy and security, Earneo grants it to them by using the identity management via blockchain and still reward them with RNO coin. Privacy of the users is the right of Earneo platform.
Earneo utility token(RNO):
Earneo makes use of RNO, a BEP2 token disseminated on Binance Chain. Users will create a wallet where all their RNO token will be received. 650,000,000 RNO have been disseminated on Binance's chain after the SNPC exchange from Ethereum. All the RNO token that users will be rewarded with will be bought by Earneo on the market since it is too early to expect the advertisers to buy RNO token directly to reward the users. To push the adoption of cryptocurrency, fiat payments can also be made on the platform to carry non-crypto users along.
Problems:
- Censorship: Most of the video sharing platforms we see today face moderation problems. YouTube has faced criticisms for allowing inappropriate contents on their platform. Some contents can even be deleted without a practical reason. Recently, YouTube deleted crypto-related contents from their site without a tip off. Even with AI and their third-party moderators, that problem seems to go on.
- Partiality: Content creators are no longer recognized for what they do these days. They are unequally rewarded for their time and hard work. On YouTube, 50 million people create contents and yet 99% of them receive less than $100 monthly. YouTube is no longer approachable to content creators, so they have reported to looking for platforms where they would be fully recognized and paid well. Some big creators have created their own video sharing platform while the rest are on a search for other platforms to expand their income.
Solution: - With the help of IPFS technology, the platform will be fully decentralized and censorship-defiant allowing only appropriate videos to be uploaded on the platform. The moderation of Earneo is dependent on a willing community.
- Earneo will solve this issue of partiality by sharing their revenue equally among the users including content creators. A new content creator will be able to post contents aand earn RNO coin.
