That doesn't work for me in a world with an ever-increasing population and need to keep some areas without permanent human settlement. That doesn't really hold space for the next 7 generations.

The world can hold a lot of people.

As long as they are earth stewards and work in harmony with the ecosystem... yes. That is not currently the majority nor anywhere close, unfortunately. So the earth's capacity largely relies on the practices of the people who would decide they own it.

yeah, but those people that own the land have to provide for other's to get what they need and if the majority of people on earth want to help the planet then they would not give money to those that harm it.
