I don't believe so, the major problem is the "competiviness" between the miners who maintain the network
we want a mix of collaboration in order to run the right protocol, still a good amount of competition to avoid formation of cartel which would gain together more than 50% of control. It needs only the cooperation of the 3 big ones to do so, check out BTC.com, AntPool, BTC.TOP.
