Self Sustainable Garden

in earthnation •  7 years ago  (edited)

Today my friend Remy and I did some work in the garden. This picture below shows the deconstruction of the garden in order to clear space to create a self sustaining garden. We are beginning the process by clearing beds and creating nutritious compost piles.

Our compost pile contains the following:

  1. Vegetation from the garden as a source of nitrogen.
  2. Locally sourced pine needles, wood shavings, and hay for the carbon source.
  3. A secret fungi recipe.
  4. Super nutritious homemade compost.

Glad you're aware of the importance of fungi. They play a central role in keeping plants healthy. 🙌
