•The earthquake shook the region of Alaska, United States, magnitude 8.2 magnitude on Tuesday (23/1).
Quoted from Reuters, the US Geological Agency USGS reported an earthquake rocked the area at about 256 km southeast of Chiniak, Alaska.
The depth of the earthquake is at 10 km below the earth's surface. The earthquake occurred at 09.31 GMT.
The quake triggered a tsunami warning alarm for parts of Alaska and Canada.
The tsunami alert is also applied to the entire west coast of the United States.
Not yet known whether there are victims in this earthquake.
