Relaxing into creative mode. Moments to breathe and gain vision

I'm finding its taking me time to unwind, to come down, breathe, focus, and start to let the creative process flow. I have experienced some traumas and even though I will be expressing from there somewhat I need not be psychologically transfixed. I'm reminded I'm a regular old joe, except maybe exceptionally so, If i can express that - to be ultra normal. At ease soldier! I sometimes wake up with repeated thought patterns that are rememberances of emotional and social stress, even distress. They are only memories I am tapping into as well as reminders situations haven't changed much. I can't do it alone sure, but the vision comes from within. No one else can think or feel for me. Perhaps can collaborate later, the idea and inception is mine for it to be able to exist. Sure collage art - my own cultural expression, from my unique perspective.

The band, the concept follows it's own path. It's my job to direct it and advertise the ideas. Get them out there. That's what I'm getting at now. This is a job. My creative process and music if made is my job. That's the perspective I'm relaxing to. The focus and inspiration is coming on. I'm feeling contented like never before. Feels like I actually have something to say and could tell an interesting story. I know there is more than one way to view the world and life. I will use all the multiplicity of perspectives in my awareness range at present. This right now is just me talking it out to myself in a public forum. Feels good and therapeutic somewhat already, I must say

I feel refreshed I have my own way of thinking about culture, life and experience. There are others out there who are honest and have a fair share of expressive range as well. I'm feeling I fit in to an honesty. I can still read books and appreciate some artistry out there in the music and art spheres. There are a few cultural characters who I like interacting with as well. I had to feel home before I could start this! I'm there! I'm here!! Right on! It's good I'm opening up somewhat and reading books again. Gets the ideas to flow more easily. I have personal experience yes, also into back and forth pop cultural expressions as well. If there was no culture, no language, I would have no story to tell or express. So even if you hate the way the culture is going, you can't hate culture itself cause it's where we live. Use it!! It sends a message so send one back!! Having your ears and eyes open is important so one story told can allow another to unfold. Setting stage for the pop cultural sage!!

I think that western culture has no shamans. It's our job as artists to be that role. The eyes, ears of the culture. The interpreters of our human cultural language. I realise this has to be done outside or on the fringe of society somewhat. So one does not get wrapped up in any particular drama and can look at the culture more as a whole. A birds eye view, with exsistential merits. from the outside. As an alien archaeologist

To embody that lost sense of balance that western culture lacks. We are some of the only ones who don't incorporate balance as one of the human senses. We need to take action now on this problem. Even words are political actions on conceptual reality. I'm learning to re-speak. Playing with the language like a kid that's learning it. Bonus that I've familiar already and remembering it's malleability. That's where poetry and metaphor can come in nicely. Sweet. Sound good on paper. Now it's time to art it up a bit. I'm thinking of making some memes soon. Putting some of my favorite sayings and putting them with some catchy images. Nuff said.
