INGREDIENTS
1.5 cups flour
0.5 teaspoon soda
0.5 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2-3 teaspoons lemon zest
0.3 cup lemon juice
1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
0.5 cup vegetable oil

- Turn the oven to heat up to 180 degrees. Oil the cake pan with vegetable oil or butter and sprinkle with flour.
- Mix all the dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, salt and baking powder) in a large bowl.

- Whisk eggs, sugar, butter, vanilla extract, lemon zest and juice with a mixer in another bowl.
- While stirring, gradually add the flour mixture to the egg mixture.
- Add the vegetable oil to the dough and mix. Put the dough in a baking dish and place it in the oven.
- Bake the lemon cake in a hot oven for 45 minutes. Check readiness of the cake with a toothpick (it should be dry).
- Make the glaze: mix powdered sugar and milk.
- Drizzle cooled lemon cake with glaze. The cake is ready!
