Hi guys! Good day, how are you today ? Of course you are fine

Hello everyone, welcome! to meet me again of course still in the addition of scientific insight, this time still invites you to collaborate in observing the types of insects that we always meet around us, they always live side by side with humans but some people do not know their condition and situation. So, in this short article I will introduce them to you one of the insects Bapal Pucung might be able to add to your scientific insight.

But before it helps you get to know how the insect criteria itself.

Quoted from some references that have been established by experts that the insect itself belongs to the Arthropod phylum as you have read in the previous post that phylum is defined as an animal with wide or wide legs, has a chest, head, and wings. While Arthropoda itself is divided into three subfiles, namely Trilobata, Mandibule, and Chelicerata, but in this post I will not discuss about these three things, but what will be discussed is the type of insect itself characteristics.

Likewise with one of these insects, he is referred to as the bapal pucung or residents here mention as The Mirah Reungat

Bapal Pucung Insects or in English is called Red Cotton Bug is one of the animals that is often found in all green plants, its presence in plants makes plants slow to develop.

Its existence is very worried by the plantation farmers, indeed it does not eat much leaves like caterpillars and other destructive insects, but its existence is always slowing down plants that have been planted by farmers.

This one insect will always be a plant pest, in general it really likes plants like cotton plants, rosella, and okra plants.

Its characteristics

In my observations and through simple research it can be concluded that, physically it has a red body size while its length is 11-17 mm and width is 4.5 or 4.00 mm. On the back of the head and abdomen there are white and black lines if you notice that the upper part of the body resembles a person's face or the face contained in a shield. Most of the brown colored wings have a pair of black patches exactly as you can see in the picture. Later he also had nymphs that were bright red and lived in groups on each plant stem.

How to breed

Bapal Pucung also has a mission and vision in building its civilization like other insects, the way it reproduces by laying eggs. They will also marry between men and women, but there is one oddity when he is looking for a partner, he does not see the sex to be married, sometimes they will marry a fellow man. This uniqueness cannot be shared by experts because it is rather difficult to detect.

When the marriage is finished, the female will lay out the eggs a few days later, which are kept in a hidden place, in general they put it in a hidden place such as in the hole in a plant stem. Well ... This is what can inhibit plant growth and sometimes the plant itself will die.

Then the eggs will hatch in stems that have been perforated by males so that their offspring will also damage the stems of plants that are in the hole in the stems of plants.

Will be continued on the 2nd post ....
