Hello friends, i would like to introduce you to a new category "Every Day a Bird". Today I chose the favorite bird from my childhood. Furthermore, every day another Bird Review will follow. Of course you are also invited to post about the topic "bird" under the Tag

#everydayabird

The wagtail

Up to 18cm tall and about 25g in weight. Flashy black and white
Plumage with gray back, black throat and hood, long,
mostly rocking tail with bright edges. The wagtail is
mostly in motion. You often see them in persevering,
tripping run. The bird looks slim. And is also good to see at a long distance.

The wagtail is found throughout Europe, as well as in parts of Asia.
As the name suggests, wagtails are close to water
but they are not dependent on a water environment.
They are just as common in meadows and paths, in parks or
to see on roadsides and in cities.
