I took these pictures from my backyard during the 2017 Eclipse across the USA. I live in Indiana and had a pretty good view, though I would share what I captured.
First a picture of the currently, bright, Sun appearing through the middle of a darkened cloud circle. Beautiful layering with light and dark contrasts
Here we can see the light caused by the eclipse shifting, one big cloud in the way tho... Wait until we see what is hiding behind it
Next we start zooming in and can see the eclipse through a darkened cloud... truly stunning!
This, almost magical, darkened cloud continues to pass over my view of the eclipse granting me this stunning final photo!
Afterwards the sun reappears and all is fine
I did leave this cool Moonstone I have out during the eclipse to let it catch some Rare Rays
One last shot... Afterwards I noticed this really cool "Halo" effect around the new post eclipse sun. Seeing it in person almost looked like a huge. absolutely HUGE planet in the background
