We had some decent viewing here in Wisconsin where the eclipse was to be around 80%.
We looked through the glasses, which was very cool, the crescent shape was very distinct!
We used the box style, and could make out the shape although not as crisply as the glasses.
Then the clouds came and I got this photo of the eclipse.
Not much to write home about there.
The problem was it was impossible to get a good photo through the glasses, or I would be posting it now.

Here in Venezuela I could observe it yesterday afternoon, it was wonderful, after the eclipse a few hours later there was a huge storm for 2 hours and as I live in a mountainous area unfortunately brought many sequels, such as landslides and some Houses in the mountains fell, thanks to God n were injured or victims ..

"Not much to write home about there." It was true here in Green Bay. But I was able to video some intense ray of light. I posted it on dtube, but it's the first time I used dtube. So hopefully it worked.
