SOLAR ECLIPSE 2017 Video: Entire Eclipse Including Reactions! Totality

Great post, I like seeing how other people experienced this. I was in the Lincoln, Nebraska area but the clouds prevented us from seeing it during totality, that was a bit disappointing. We did have good views before & after totality & had it occurred just an hour or so later, the clouds cleared out by then.

Lol...looks like everyone wanna capture their social media moment.."the world is ending"...if you have the time you can do some reading on raja tama and sattva and its significance... it was a great time to do some mindfulness... for me it took away the usual tropical scorching heat and the evening was cool, the birds were out in their glory this evening

I had the honor of seeing an entire solar eclipse about 20 years ago in Romania
I am glad you had your chance today
its a very rare event

Very cool! My family and I went to an eclipse party in the park and I got a video too, but we're in NY, so the only real reason we got cool footage is someone set up a solar dome, that crescent moon looking thing that showed through your telescope came through the top of the tent and showed up on a big piece of cardboard they had on the ground in the middle of the tent.

I love the animated speech about aliens :)

EDIT: There's a telescope in the pictures in the post I made that a very nice man let my children look through, my son said that the image in your video looked like what he saw through it. I edited my post to include your post :)

Pretty fantastic! What struck me was how emotional people got elsewhere. I was talking to friends and they thought maybe it was because in ancient times, people thought an eclipse was the end of the world. Maybe there's a part of us that's still afraid the sun won't emerge again. A primal fear. When it does, we're relieved and happy!

luckY! ghere in san diego it got a LIL dark and it was like 60 percebt but its fine, u can ALWAYS travel to se another total solar eclipse LOl u can always FLY to see one if u really wantto before you di eor somethinG dont feel bad! none missed out! also u can always see eclipse from the ISS!

wow cool video i was gonna vlog from my eclipse spot but u coudnt realy see it!

Il do a vlog tonight but im hapy to see how nice it is outside! hha nice cemetary!

Very cool! It got to 92% here (Western Washington state)... not enough to get dark... but a very surreal "dusk-in-full-sunshine" that made me imagine I was on another strange planet.

Super cool!!! You got to see totality. Looked like a fun day. I just posted on what we got here in Florida, about 80%. We got to see cool eclipse shaped shadows cast down from the trees, but not the full ring.

That's pretty cool to get all the reactions and everything. We never got to see totality with only about 90% covered, so it didn't actually go dark here. I posted my pictures on my blog and explained how I took the pictures, starting with just a plain camera lens and its over-exposed image and what I did to get the rest of my images.

hmm... facebook live, that is inferior to steemit Hopefully sooner or later we can get some dtube live which would be pretty cool. She was so obsessed with trying to go live on facebook haha

This video conveyed the excitement of getting to see this first hand into video format. I felt like that, but since I couldn't see the ellipse for myself this is definitely the next best thing. All the euphoria and elation is just so contagious.

I live in which U.K. So I wasn't able to experience the eclipse but I watched a livestream and it looked absolutely incredible: especially in places where they were able to experience the full eclipse making Venus also visible.

It is definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity and hopefully, there will be another one sooner or later that I can witness for myself @stellabelle! :)

My brother and I drove from the Twin Cities and stayed in Council Bluffs Sunday night. Drove down to the center line of totality just south of Steinauer, Nebraska. It was mostly cloudy but still awe-inspiring.

Absolutely insane traffic jams. We had to abandon plans to drive further west to a less cloudy location. It seemed like half the population of the Midwest was stuck in traffic.
