Journey into the path of TOTALITY

Took off work to head out on a family vacation. Greg had planned to watch this eclipse for the last 3 years. He told my mom about it in march and she got on board. The infamous uncle Joe Goulet also tagged along. We headed to the airport at 6am.

BEEGEE has some special creditcard where he gets all these perks from the golf pro shop located in the airport lol. So we played some putt putt and ate free quesadillas. 

We landed in Bozeman, Montana at around 10AM, grabbed the rental car and headed to our air bnb. The air smelled like a campfire. I guess Oregon has some gnarly forest fires reaping havoc, the smoke filling the surrounding states. The scenery was So much cooler than the midwest. We stopped on the side of the road to dip my feet in the ice cold water.

Quickly out of Montana and into the neighboring Idaho, a very beautiful state. I guess they get a lot of snow in the winter. All the buildings were built with massive A frame roofs to deal with the 3-4 feet of snow they get all at once sometimes.

This gas station had a snow blower positioned on it's roof ready for a blizzard lol.

We arrived at the Air BNB. Strangly, it appeared exactly like I envisioned it. (hard to explain)

Before unpacking the van, BG makes sure the hot tub is functioning to his specifications.

We had the weekend to do fun stuff before the eclipse. Joe Goulet suggested BEAR WORLD lol, a roadside attraction featuring captured bears emulating what used to exist in Yellowstone state park, Bears walking on the street.

The place was goofy as shit.

One of their claim to fames was a rare White Elk. I caught it lounging in possible starvation with a white SUV and a white sedan in the mirror lol. Watch the video at the end of the post for some rad BEAR FOOTAGE.

They had a disgusting petting zoo full of sickly animals. I noticed they dont keep their vending machine very stocked lol.

They were chemtrailing Bear World to keep the animals and the humans utterly retarded.

Bear world is an evil place lol. I dont recommend it, we got a bunch of good laughs from it though. Watching the bears wasn't enough, we wanted to RIDE some bears. After bear world we headed to a ranch by our cabin to ride some horses lol.

I kept letting my horse eat snacks. This gave him energy. His brain was small so he didnt think to pass the other horses until i instructed him to do so. He just kept riding the ass of the horse in front of him. Every time i guided him off the path, the horse instructors would bitch at me to keep the creature in line lol.

After the ride, they let all the horses out to roam :)

The next day we went to Mesa Falls, a giant waterfall in a canyon of pine trees.

Look at all those trees. Perfect cone-shaped pine trees. My phone camera's RAM was bogging down due to the sheer visual information when I was taking these photos.

The rest of the day we spent scouting our spot for viewing the eclipse. Tomorrow was the eclipse. I went online that night and researched some interesting stuff about the eclipse. The path of totality began in Oregon, the 33rd state to join the union, and it exits in South Carolina at the 33° parallel. At our location in Idaho, we were supposed to see the total eclipse at 11:33 AM! Some spiritual numerology going on....Donald Trump's uncle, (the one who confiscated all of Tesla's patents after he died) John Trump, died on Aug 21, 1907. lol. I also found out that the Native American tribes people do not celebrate the eclipse. They take thier children and families inside, close the blinds and meditate without food or water, allowing the sun to be reborn. Intel from Pattie Brassard and Karen Macdonald also said to avoid the eclipse, that the cabal were directing thier energy weapons at all the people in the path of totality and beyond. She said they were attempting to fry people's third eyes (as if our first 2 eyes aren't already enough to worry about! lol).

 I was expecting the cabal to fill the sky with chemtrails to bother us, but was suprised at 8AM we had clear skies.

On to the freeway and BAM. Traffic and some minor anxiety set in.

Greg had 500 custom printed tote bags that he made, to sell to the supposed wild mobs of people like the news said it would be. We made them Extra custom the nights before. This was my design:

Gregg bought some awesome paint markers that were really fun to work with. The most interesting thing I researched was that on April 8th, 2024 there is going to be another Great American Eclipse. This time it will go from New York to Mexico. It will create an "X" on the United States directly on a town in Illinois called... Cairo! The area that Cairo is in is commonly referred to as "Little Egypt". I found this mind-blowing. I heard on some podcast years ago a man finding Egyptian Artifacts in Burrows Cave in Illinois. I intend to road trip down there soon for fun. VERY INTERESTING STUFF, PEOPLE!

We didnt sell a single one LOL. Oh well. This farmer got caught up in the hype as well. He was offering his farm land to camp on for $150 a night and I don't think he got much business. The media hyped up the eclipse so much the townsfolk were all panicking, stocking water, food and gas. Even though most of the people voted for Trump in these areas, they still seem to buy the fake news lol. These tents were probably put up by the farmer so draw in customers. He should have charged $10 a night and maybe he would have got some business. 

We found our spot on a dead end road so we pulled over. We waited, and then the air started getting cold. We could see with our eclipse glasses that it was at about 60% covered. 

The light at that time was the strangest thing. hard to explain. it was a white blue light but at about Half the lumens of normal sun, and a chemtrail appeared.

The cell phone camera did not capture the subtle change in light that we experienced that day.

The road we were positioned on was on the border of Wyoming and Idaho. the road seperating the two states.

The shadows started to look weird. they had a fuzzy border to them that the camera failed to capture as well.

The little crescent shaped light spots as the sun shined through the trees.

AND THEN.... IT HAPPENED!

BOOM, in about 10 seconds it went from light out to sunset and very cold!

The camera couldnt capture what the eclipse looked like. In retrospect i wish I didnt fuss with my phone so much trying to get a picture.

Right when the moon covered the sun I swear I saw some red light spaceships fly off the moon. Ill use google to find a photo that looks like what we perceived....

This <3 is what it looked like. You could see the magnetic field of the moon or something. The halo was SO crazy looking! like nothing Ive ever seen.

And then it was over. :)

TEHN, we headed to a secret CAVE Gregg found out about somehow. It was called Wind Cave. Sounded like something from Zelda. It was more than a 3.5 mile hike.

The scenery was so lush I didn't mind a 3 hour hike.

I started to feel it in my lungs as we ascended to higher elevations.

You can see the smoke from Oregon at the top section of the mountain.

Some spots on the trail were SO scenic. 

I honestly had no idea where we were going, or what to expect. We got mixed reviews from people walking back down the trail as we were climbing up it. Some said it was worth it, some said it wasn't. I saw what looked like a cave from the spot with the wildflowers but it was so far away I assumed it couldn't be were we were going. I was wrong! we made our way all the way to the other mountain and were greeted by this waterfall.

BG took a quick ICE COLD shower (see video). Little did I know the water was coming from the WIND CAVE! Where the tempuratures would be pleasantly arctic.

We ascended another fifty feet to the top of the waterfall and stood outside the entrance to the WIND CAVE.

The huge cathedral part of the cave was visually stunning, but then the cave kept going deeper into darkness...

There was this little hole at the end of the tunnel that had artic air blowing through it. It was amazing. I was a little unsure if I wanted to crawl through it but FOR SURE went for it, as Greg was already on the other side.

Legend has it, the cave goes on for 5 or 6 miles or PURE darkness. 

Half of our party had turned back due to the hike so we bailed on that. Good place to hide during a zombie apocalypse though.
