Solar Powered Device Pulls Water Out of Thin Air

in econews •  7 years ago

The current prototype can only absorb about 20 percent of its weight in water, but it is thought using other MOF types could boost this to more than double that.

How to Pull Water Out of Thin Air, Even in the Driest Parts of the Globe.

Vertical Gardens :
Use less than 1% of the land space,
Use less than 1% of the water, (making this 100 times more practical than outdoor farming)

With this cheap technology, we don’t need wells, river or lake water, etc.
This will be cheaper than running pipes / municipal water,
or drilling water wells. And it will be much cleaner,
especially when using hemp activated carbon filters
to keep dirty air from entering the system.
